Couples Photoshoot in Point Reyes Beach and Cypress Tree Tunnel, California

Yilin, Wilson and I went to explore the beautiful Point Reyes Seashore this July and I’m a huge sucker for tree tunnels! Part of the reasons why I got into photography is probably the many tree tunnel photographs I saw on my phone when I was a teenager, lol. So when we arrived there, I was so stoked to finally capture a tree tunnel photograph of my own! Also a little story for Yilin and Wilson, I knew Yilin from college’s dance team (AFX at Cal) and they met each other from Cal too. They share similar music taste and they also like to cook together at home, what a perfect match.

Talk about the shoot, it was a very gloomy and dark day at the coast, so I made it into a bit moody session. I used a bit different editing styles to suit the different moods and settings, and the editing process is as fun as the shooting time. I guess as much as I love my bright and warm editing style, there’s always a spot for moody and intimate style in my soul.
